Project Overview
This project involved the complete carpentry package for a 5-bedroom single-dwelling renovation and rear extension, taking the home through to the lock-up stage.
As part of the works, the existing ceiling heights were increased from 2.4 metres to 2.7 metres, creating a greater sense of space and improving the overall proportion of the home.
Our scope included the structural carpentry throughout, framing of the new rear extension, modifications to the existing structure, and the installation of all new windows and external doors.
The project required careful coordination between the existing home and the new addition to ensure the structure, roofline and openings all came together accurately and were ready for the next stages of construction.
By completion of our scope, the home had been brought to lock-up stage with the major structural and external carpentry works complete, providing a solid foundation for the internal finishes and remaining trades to follow.
